{ Your Session }

I believe nothing matters as much as relationships. I've photographed many maternity, babies and children through the years. And I've had three children of my own. Combine all of it and it occurred to me that the sort of legacy I want to leave are photographs of children, with what is most important to them. Their people. Relationships. That's what matters. With that, you will see through my portfolio photographs of people together. Not always, I love honest portraits of children on their own as well. But my sessions are very much geared to include siblings and parents. Even if only a glimpse of a parent.

My baby sessions are focused on celebrating life. A new baby in your life, in your home, in your family. My goal is to have your session not look like 'just another baby'. I stay away from the popular prop photographs and instead focus on your child, in the context of your family. Because I believe those will mean more to you in ten years. And to them in twenty. And to their kids in forty.

For this to happen, my sessions take place in your home or at an agreed location of your choice. Somewhere where your child or children will feel comfortable. I encourage activities during our sessions, something that brings out your child - especially for the shy ones. A run in a field, a bike ride, a walk down the street, baking a cake, taking a bubble bath, reading books.

If you are like many, you probably don't love having your photograph taken. This subject is so important to me, I could talk for hours on the topic. If you would like to talk about it, contact me. I would love the opportunity to help. Because life is precious. And of unknown magnitude really. (and because we all know children grow much too fast)

{ About Annie }

My purpose as a photographer is a simple one: to Capture Life.

A few years ago, after personally realizing that life is much too short, I decided I would make it my mission to capture people. To capture life, love and laughter. To capture true personalities. In those moments, I became a portrait photographer. This title has evolved over time, it has taken me on a wonderful journey where I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful, interesting people.

I think life is much too important to not capture its details & emotions. I love to document life. I love to be able to remember moments. And I hope that reading this might have triggered you to go snap a photo of your children RIGHT NOW. Or take a photo of your dog. Or take a photo of your parents.

Regardless of how - please do take the time to photograph those who are important to you. Now. You'll be thankful you did.

I live in Wakefield, QC with my husband and our three children.
